Electricity? Don’t touch the stuff.
Give me good old fashioned candle light, thank you very much. Who wants the harsh glare of a so-called ‘light bulb’ in their eyes? Not me, that’s for sure. I’m just an old romantic me, and nothing beats the flicker of a candle flame in your beau’s eyes. I’ve seen it all, what with me being over 300 years old, and this electricity thing, well it’s just a phase, you’ll see.
Being made of sheet iron I easily corrode if the air is too humid, so I’ve got to be kept in stable conditions. The staff and volunteers at the Museum monitor the ‘relative humidity’ of the air each week to make sure I don’t corrode away. Thanks, guys!
