Activity: A Visit to View the Newnham College Suffrage Artefacts

A rare opportunity to view some of the unique items that comprise the Newnham College collection

Join us on a visit to Newnham College to see their acclaimed suffrage banner. First seen during a procession organised by the National Union of Women's Suffrage Societies on 13 June 1908. The visit will include a chance to see items donated by the artist and collector Christiana Herringham (1852-1929), an early benefactor of the college and an influential suffrage campaigner.
