My Technicolour Self – Young People’s Activity (13-17 year olds)
5 August 2022, 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Flip the idea of the selfie on its head! What if people could see the true you in all of its brilliance and not just the face you show to the outside world?
Explore and represent yourself and your feelings during lockdown using colour, texture and form, creating a time-capsule memory with our fabulous and fun art workshop! No previous art experience necessary!
Help us to keep everyone safe by taking a lateral flow test before arriving at the event, and not attending if you feel unwell. In order to run a safe event and not disappoint anyone once spaces are full, booking is essential and you can reserve your free place here using Eventbrite, or should you prefer, do feel free to email us directly: sarah.hutton@museumofcambridge.org.uk.
Workshops are running every Friday across August.
Please note that photographs will be taken throughout the session, and images taken will be used to promote further Museum events, as well as in funding reports. If you do not wish your family’s photograph to be taken, please make sure to let us know ahead of time.
Booking is via Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/my-technicolour-self-young-peoples-event-aged-13-17-tickets-386021479637
A big thank you to the funding provided by the Vaccine Access Grant and Cambridge City Council to run these exciting workshops.
