Beautiful Bonnets – Easter Holidays 2025
12 April, 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Have you ever seen Victorian ladies wearing big, fancy hats? Have you ever wondered why they look so silly? Come and find out at our FREE drop-in craft session this Easter Holiday at the Museum of Cambridge.
Learn why Easter bonnets became popular in Victorian England, and how strange some of them were, before making your own Easter hat.
Have a go at plaiting the same way ‘Mad Hatters’ used to for hundreds of years!
This drop-in craft is suitable for families with children 5+. No need to book, just pop in to the Enid Porter Room at the Museum.
