A Festive weekend of Christmas Shopping

We had a delightful weekend of shopping at the Museum of Cambridge this past weekend, with our Made in Cambridge Christmas Market! Running from Friday 29th November to Sunday 1st December, we welcomed 16 talented artisans, craft people and makers, and welcomed over 1,000 visitors across the three days. We were delighted to celebrate the festive season and support local artisans this Christmas season.

Our Market focused on all things made in Cambridge and Cambridgeshire, featuring a wide selection of products, from ceramics and jewellery to textiles, prints, and home décor. We even featured our own volunteer run second hand books stall, as well as our own hot drinks stall with some amazing mulled wine!

On Saturday, we were graced by a lovely group of carollers led by our Chair of Trustees, Roger, who filled the Museum courtyard with festive spirit from their beautiful singing.

If you would like to support and explore further any of the vendors we had our market, please find below our list of vendors:

If you’re still planning your holiday shopping, do not fret! The Museum of Cambridge shop is filled with the perfect gifts for everyone! We boast a wide collection of greeting cards and Christmas cards, made by Cambridgeshire artists as well as the Museum’s very own selection. We also offer local honey, beautiful tea towels, and a number of vintage pocket money toys and crafts for children, and second hand books for all ages.

With something for everyone, come do your Christmas shopping at the Museum! We will be open as normal until Monday 23rd of December.
