The Museum of Cambridge will remain open as planned on the 24th, 30th and 31st of December and our volunteers and staff will be pleased to welcome you.
We will be taking appropriate safety precautions to ensure your visit is Covid-safe. We have a one-way system in place, we can facilitate Test and Trace, hand sanitiser is available throughout the Museum, and face coverings must be worn by all visitors, volunteers, and staff (unless you are exempt). Please do not visit the Museum if you live in a Tier 3 or 4 area – we’ll look forward to seeing you at the Museum another time.
In these extraordinary times, visiting a local museum can be an essential part of staying well and keeping active. If your plans over the festive period have had to change; if you are spending the next few weeks on your own, or at home with a gaggle of rambunctious children; or if you just need to see a friendly face, pop along to our Museum and we’ll be so very pleased to welcome you.
Alternatively, you can still be a part of our Museum’s community by visiting us online. Check out our online exhibitions, The Things We See and The Allan We Knew, or follow us on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook.
