We are extremely sad to hear of the death of Allan Brigham, and send our condolences to his wife Janice, and his family. Allan was a valued and respected trustee of the Museum of Cambridge for over 30 years, and also Chair of the Friends for some of that time. He had a passion for local history, and loved to share this widely, with talks, walking tours and publications, wanting us to understand the whys and wherefores of the places we live in. We will miss him hugely.

If you’d like to donate to the Arthur Rank Hospice who looked after Allan then please see the campaign at justgiving.com/fundraising/allan-brigham.
Update: 10 November 2020: The Museum was hosting a small exhibition about Allan in the Community Cabinet. As the Museum is now closed due to government restrictions we have moved the exhibition online.
